All fish are released directly into Chapman Creek, where the will migrate downstream to the ocean. To release the juvenile salmon they are crowded in their rearing container with a seine net by our staff and volunteers, they are then netted into either buckets filled with some water to walk them to the creek or they are directly netted into a transport hose via a hopper partially filled with running water that will get them to the creek.
