Salmonid Enhancement Society Supports Chefs Extravaganza at Ruby Lake Resort

World renown chefs from Culinary team Canada are coming to Ruby Lake Resort to cook up a culinary extravaganza. Comprised of chefs from across Canada who have exhibited excellence in culinary skills, Culinary Team Canada members are chosen by their peers to represent our country, and are volunteers who participate in Team activities on their own time.
The Sunshine Coast Salmonid Enhancement Society will have their home grown Rainbow Trout as part of the appetizer selection. The Enhancement Society does more than release Salmon. Executive Director David Burnett says that the Chapman Creek Hatchery produces Rainbow Trout for sale to the Sunshine Coast community and that “we are totally committed as an organization to local food sustainability and production. “
This Chef extravaganza showcase will be hosted by Chef Aldo of Ruby Lake Resort on Saturday June 27 at 6:00 pm. Chef Aldo says that the event will provide an opportunity for coasters who have an appreciation of fine food to enjoy an evening of primo cooking. Upon arrival guests will also receive a complimentary glass of prosecco. There will also be Caviar tasting, appetisers and a main course of wild game and seafood. Diners will also have the opportunity to meet the Chefs who will be representing Canada in Erfurt, Germany at the 2016 Culinary Olympics
