FISHING RE-OPENS IN CHAPMAN CREEK!
On Sep 11 2015, DFO re-opens Chapman Creek for fishing. With Chapman Lake practically full and rain forecast fishing re-opens in Chapman Creek. The daily limit of salmon in Chapman Creek is changed to the following:
Chinook salmon – four (4) per day, only 2 over 50 cm.
Coho salmon – four (4) per day, hatchery marked only, only 2 over 35 cm.
Pink salmon – four (4) per day.
The open portion of Chapman Creek is located upstream of the tidal water fishing boundary signs located below the Hwy 101 bridge to 100m below the falls. The falls are located approximately 550m upstream of the power line crossing.
