Coho Salmon Recipes
Coho Salmon is one of the best tasting Salmon available. It has a medium fat content and it’s meat is rich red and absolutely delicious. This year the Chapman creek Hatchery has been experiencing abundant returns and we would love to share some of our gourmet mouth watering Coho Salmon recipes with you.
David’s Baked Asian Coho Salmon Fillets
Purchase your fresh Coho Salmon from the Chapman Creek Hatchery or from your local fish market or grocer. Better yet- catch your Coho on the fly in Chapman Creek on the bountiful Sunshine Coast!
In a bowl mix together your marinade
2 tablespoons of of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of brown sugar or 1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
Dash of pepper
(optional 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes to spice it up.)
Pour the marinade over your Coho salmon fillets and garnish with fresh chive or lemon grass -let it marinade for a min of 2 hours in the fridge
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees f and bake for 25 minutes or more depending upon your taste.
Serve with fresh veg or better yet freshly picked Chanterelles, baked potatoes or wild rice.
