We are committed to providing our expertise, and our facility to academic and industrial pursuits by field testing new technology for commercial applications. Whether it applies to aquaculture for feeding a population or to assist living and survival in a remote location, or any other venture that will assist humankind – the bounds are limitless.
We, here on the Sunshine Coast, understand the value of being able to sustain life and a strong community within a geographically, isolated area. Although we are open to testing all applications, we would like to promote industry which encourages and sustains the “100 mile rule” within a community.
As the Coast is a boating, flying, fishing and logging community, with many remote location residences, and camps, we are looking at testing new wind generators, systems for water capture and purification including sewage treatment, and methane-related technologies. We are open to discussing, any and all applications in which we might assist.
To date we have assisted in field trials for the work, and publication, of a graduate student’s thesis, and we continue to explore the options for the ability of low-flow water to generate electricity. We would also like to test electricity producing photocells which operate on light as opposed to heat or bright sunlight.
We continue to look to partnering with the community to bring new technology online and produce a sustainble business model for the betterment of our community.
